Hey there

I search for a previous post that could answer this but alas I found nothing.

My question is this - How is the download count of an individual item calculated?

Let's take my latest upload for instance - http://www.archive.org/details/Meta_

It currently says that its been downloaded 398 times. Do a download mean the whole item in a zip format or everytime someone downloads only one file from the item?

Thank you.
